This is the third generation Honda Scoopy-i, the version with the LED headlight. Same retro Scoopy shape, but the front end is sharper and the LED lights up dark sois far better than an old halogen bulb. It runs a 108cc fuel-injected Honda engine with a CVT automatic, so you just twist and go.
It comes with Honda’s start/stop system. Stop at a red light for a few seconds and the engine switches off, open the throttle and it starts again straight away. Less heat, less noise and no fuel wasted while you wait out a long Bangkok light. The ECO mode light shows when you are riding economically.
We price it the same as our Honda Click 125. The Click has the bigger engine and a bit more pull when you set off. Pick the Scoopy if you want the retro look and the better headlight. Both are easy in traffic and easy to park.
At 230 THB per day for 2 to 6 days, it costs the same as the Click 125. A week is 1,200 THB and a full month is 3,500 THB. Compare all models on our scooter comparison page.
Rental area: Bangkok metropolitan area only. GPS monitored. Bigger touring bikes are joining the fleet in the coming months for trips outside Bangkok. Until then, the Honda CBR300R is the only bike allowed out of the city, up to 150 km.
