The Tuscany 150 is GPX’s take on the classic Vespa look, and it’s not far off, same round headlight, same flat floorboard, same retro curves. Underneath it’s a straightforward 150cc automatic: air-cooled single, CVT, front disc and rear drum brake with combined braking. Like all current RentLab bikes, the Tuscany is restricted to Bangkok metropolitan area only.
This unit is a 2024 model with about 4,000km on it, so it rides like new. Compared to the Aerox in the fleet, the Tuscany is the calmer choice. Less power, no sport pretensions, but the trade-off is a much newer machine under you. The Aerox in RentLab’s fleet is a 2018 unit built for speed through traffic. The Tuscany is built for looking good doing it, cruising rather than weaving.
Fuel economy runs 38-45 km per liter, better than the Aerox, so fewer stops for gas on long days out. Storage is the usual scooter compromise, enough for a light jacket and phone, not a full helmet.
At 350 THB per day on the 2-6 day rate, same pricing as the Aerox, this is a fair ask for a nearly new retro scooter that looks noticeably nicer in photos than the average rental bike. Real Vespa rentals in Bangkok run 400-600 THB a day for the same look, so this is the cheaper way into that aesthetic without the Vespa price tag.
