The NMAX is the practical choice in the 155cc range. Same engine size as the Aerox but built for comfort rather than speed. The seat is wider, the riding position is more upright, and the under-seat storage is large enough to fit a full-face helmet plus a small bag.
Riding the NMAX through Bangkok feels stable and smooth. At about 130 kg it’s heavier than the Aerox, but the weight sits low and the wider tires grip well on wet roads during rainy season. The ABS brakes are a real safety feature on Bangkok’s slippery streets after a downpour.
This is the bike digital nomads and monthly renters tend to pick. If you’re riding every day for weeks, the comfort difference between the Aerox and NMAX adds up. The storage space means you can throw your laptop bag under the seat when you park at a coworking space.
Fuel consumption is about 35 km per liter. Highway performance is solid at sustained speeds up to 100 km/h without strain. The NMAX handles the expressway on-ramps around Bang Na and Sukhumvit without any trouble.
At 500 THB per day or 4,000 THB per month, it’s the cheapest NMAX rental in Bangkok by over 1,000 THB compared to competitors. See our monthly rental page for long-term rates.
